Waiter order taking on the restaurant floor
Tables, kitchen tickets, and the bill from an Android app.
The ElintOm restaurant captain app is an Android app for waiters. It shows a live floor, takes table or guest orders with spice levels and add-ons, sends the kitchen ticket, and starts the bill. If Wi-Fi drops, orders sit in a local queue and sync when the network returns. A separate consumer self-order app is still in development and is not this captain app.
- Live table status on the floor map
- Add-ons and spice notes on the item
- Kitchen ticket to the display or LAN printer
- Local queue during a Wi-Fi drop
A paper KOT that never reaches the pass is a lost table.
Waiters should see which table is free, which ticket is in the kitchen, and which food is ready, without walking back to a single terminal.
What the captain app does
Floor map
Tables poll about every three seconds: available, occupied, ticket sent, food ready, or served.
Orders
Seat the guests, build a cart for the table or for one guest, and add spice or add-on notes.
Kitchen dispatch
One tap sends the ticket to the kitchen display or to a LAN printer. Category rules can route the ticket to a station.
Ready notification
When the kitchen marks an item ready, the waiter sees it on the phone.
Bill
The waiter starts the final bill from the same device. Payment methods stay on the POS billing flow.
Offline queue
A short Wi-Fi drop stores the order on the device and sends it when the connection returns.

Field service is a different app path
Technicians use the service mobile API for AMC tickets, OTP, and WhatsApp job reports. That is not the restaurant captain app.
Recipe stock
A closed ticket can deduct recipe ingredients. That BOM is described on the restaurant and food-cost pages.

The team follows up after you submit the form, walks through inventory, POS, and your channels, then scopes pricing from that conversation—not a public price list.
